With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I have taken the liberty of launching a new "Seasonal Occasions Boutique" tab on my website. This first boutique will, of course, be all about Valentine's Day. But future boutiques for such occasions as St. Patty's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Graduation and so on will be on tap for the weeks and months ahead so you will want to check back often for all your holiday card and gift idea needs. Just go to www.socialbutterflydesigns.com and look for the link at the top of the home page next to the tiny heart. Enjoy and happy shopping!

Many of you who know me, know that I am most definitely a jewelry person. That is why I am so excited to share with you today that my friend (and one of my favorite jewelry designers) Erin Reinecke Balint, of ERB Irresistible Beaded Jewelry™ in Santa Barbara, has officially launched her new website http://erb-jewelry.com/. I first met Erin back in 2001 through my sister Liz Brady and the three of us have been doing shows together in Santa Barbara every year since. Erin is a master at gathering precious metals in both silver and gold, ethnic beads and semi-precious stones from around the world. She then crochets each strand by hand into the most beautiful necklaces and bracelets using only the finest clasps and findings. It has been my treat to myself to get a piece of jewelry (sometimes more than one!) from her each year to add to my collection. So many of my friends have asked about her jewelry when I wear it because it is so unique and special. So you can imagine how happy I am to be able to share her website with all of you! And, as an added bonus, Erin is offering a special 30 percent discount to Fluttertalk readers through the end of this month. Just enter the coupon code J9E1130 at checkout and a friendly 30% discount will be applied.or
Oh, and did I mention she also makes the most beautiful earrings!

Well, I went straight from Merry Christmas to Happy New Year...but that is just what happens when you have three kids home from school for two weeks. Should be back on track this week. This shot was taken on New Year's Day while at the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena with my son George and parents. USC won!
