The Art of Saying Thanks

A thank you note is a gift in and of itself.
People always remember a thank you note, long after they forget what exactly they did to deserve it. Of course, there are the usual occasions to write thank you notes, but what are often more interesting are the unexpected ones! Thank someone for helping you out with your kids, for the great evening out. Thank them for the extra special attention they offered in your time of need. Thank them for just being a really great friend...the list is endless.
It's as easy as 1. Write the thank you note. 2. Affix stamp. 3. Mail it. Done.
Of course, we prefer you wrote it on a Social Butterfly Designs thank you note. Lots of new designs debuting this Fall...pictured above are just a few. Happy writing!

Summer Road Trip 2010
It's hard to believe that our Summer comes to an end today as school is back in session tomorrow and the days of another Summer gone by will just have to linger with our memories. I thought I would share a few of our family memories from our road trip to Palm Desert and Mammoth in late August. We hit the road for a week and experienced 120 degree highs in the desert to a low of 48 degrees our last day in the mountains...talk about being unprepared for the weather change! We had a great time and spent our two days in Palm Desert enjoying the Rancho Las Palmas "Splashtopia" facilities. It was our first time at this resort and sure not to be our last. We then headed off to Mammoth and to my surprise it was only a six hour drive (about the same as from home). We stayed at a condo and did a lot of fun activities including zip lining, fishing and biking...it was a great family vacation and a good time was had by all five of us. I put together a little slide show (for anyone who is interested) from this cool website called slide.com that I found on the beachbungalow8 blog. Go ahead, make your own, it's really easy and you can add all kinds of cool effects. Enjoy if you so choose and hopefully you will be hearing from me again soon.
