The Impact of an Old-Fashioned Thank You Note

For those of you who know me personally, you probably know I like to shop and those who know me very well know that I love the store Anthropologie...LOVE LOVE LOVE! As a designer of all things paper I am also a huge proponent of the personalized thank you note and have written about it over the years on my blog. Well, today I want to share a story about two of my passions...Anthropologie and hand-written thank you notes. Earlier this week I received a hand-addressed 5x7 envelope from Anthropologie in Torrance (my local fixation) and inside was a hand written note (on a simple letterpress notecard, beautiful!) personally thanking me for shopping in the store. Needless to say, I was impressed! I cannot stress the impact that a personalized thank you note can have on the recipient, whether it be of a personal or corporate nature, the impact is HUGE!
